Jana Thompson, LMSW

Ms. Thompson is a Licensed Master Social Worker and was born and raised in Topeka, KS and has lived in Manhattan for 13+ years. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s in Social Work and received her Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a specialty in Trauma from Washburn University. Jana enjoys working with individuals, and couples. Jana also works at Ascension Via Christi Hospital as a Medical Social Worker. She is a huge supporter of helping clients who are experiencing domestic violence and has served in the past with Riley County Police Department and Crisis Center as a police response advocate on domestic violence calls. Jana is a mother of two and has two pets. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, camping, fishing, kayaking, hammocking, photography and spending time with her children/family. Ms. Thompson is working towards her LSCSW and her clinical supervisor is Daffney Kubler-Hoffman, DSW, LSCSW, LCAC.
